Weekend Treasures

A song by Jon Guerra, a fun family game, it’s hard being empty nesters (so funny!), and a fun project to do with kids.

This weekend’s treasures include a song by Jon Guerra, a fun family game, it’s hard being empty nesters (so funny!), and a fun activity to do with children.

Have a weekend full of hope!

A little musical encouragement as you kick off your weekend.

Looking for a fun family game? We bought and played Do You Really Know Your Family the Christmas before last. It had each of us (preschool-grandparents) laughing so hard our bellies hurt.

When You’re Not Ready to Be an Empty Nester. (So funny!)

Looking for a fun project to do with the kids in your life? A few months ago, I read Owl Moon to my grandchildren, and then we dissected barn owl pellets. Such a fun project! My five-year-old granddaughter said it made her feel like a real-life “sciencer!”
(We also like Adopted by an Owl, Owls, and The Knight Owl.)

Last but not least,

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
-John 16:33, NIV
